Ghost hunters is classic documentary on the supernatural. They investigate paranormal disturbances in locations that have been reported. They do this with a ghost hunting called 'TAPS', which they have mini interviews with throughout the programme.
In every one of these documentaries they use some sort of night vision also the teams go round with torches.

Documentary

For A2 I have chosen to make a documentary. I am working in a team with 1 other person and we have chosen to do a ghost hunting themed documentary. For this I have looked at various ghost hunting themed programmes such as 'Ghost Hunters' and 'Most Haunted'. I have also looked at some horror films such as 'Paranormal Activity'. I have looked at these to get a sense of the setting, theme, camera angles and general making of the genre.

An extract from a new documentary TV programme, lasting approximately five minutes, together with two of the following three options:

A radio trailer for the documentary;

a double-page spread from a listings magazine focused on the documentary;

a newspaper advertisement for the documentary.

For my magazine I have taken some pictures of a friend who is a musician and while I was at a gig. These are the original pictures which I will use for my magazine.

I have chosen to produce an alternative music magazine. My target audience being 16-24 year old interested in alternative music. I have chosen to also produce an advert with my magazine to establish the genre and mood of the magazine more.
